My good friend Ronald Draper just had his One year anniversary of his Gallery/Art Space in the BX. It’s always great to see friends do amazing and impactful things in the community. Ron’s art and character can be seen all through New York, especially uptown in Harlem.
Of course I had to support his success, but I also wanted to help be apart of his event. Last minute (literally the night before), we decided to host a station somewhere in the room to showcase a recent documentary he was in. We got a few iPads and headphones provided by Sol Republic and set up in the middle of the room. His guest were able to sit down and relax with one of their drinks from the open bar, mini cheesecake cups and dig deeper into the artist.
Towards the end of the night, Ron had a raffle. I donated two pairs of headphones that Ron will customize for the winners in the near future. Cant wait to see what he does to them..
